The Employees of Blue March
    
Sometimes, even the best laid plans go awry. (Wryyyyyy!)
Besides the being my usual über-busy self at my so-called day-job, which has been more like a day-and-night job as of late, these past couple of weeks were unexpectedly (totally unexpected) non-hentai weeks. This is very bad for the hentai stuff I need and want to do. But it’s great for the non-hentai stuff, which I also want to do!
So tonight, at the mercy of my internet service provider (last night, they were having problems) I bring to you Chapter 25 of KDOS. Raw material provided, scanned, cleaned, translated, and edited, including a 3-D test page edit, by me, Tonigobe. No wonder I’m tired! LOL!
Note: Blue/red 3-D glasses not included in the RAR file… sorry.

About the 3-D page…
 …briefly. For some reason, this tri-tone (blue, red, and white) advertisement in Comic Gum inspired me to do a 3-D version. It would have been better if I shifted the perspectives of the blue and red images a little to create better depth, but that was a much more difficult task than I was willing to spend time on.
I also attempted to make a 3-D page with the Muuko-san cover (see image below). But I’m not as happy with the results. If I get inspired again, I’ll try to make another attempt. But for now, there’s too many other things I would like to work on and finish up. ^_^;;
So much to do, so little time.
It may be cool to do a whole manga in 3-D one day. ^_^
Yeah, I’m still working on it…
Besides the long hours at my so-called day-job, it was a back to school week for the kids last week. And that meant taking them shopping for their school supplies after work. So, as I mentioned earlier, these past couple of weeks actually were non-hentai weeks.
   I’m still currently working on a commission for Lyteral. It’s Shaman King doujinshi. As mentioned, the scan quality is low. The text is difficult to read in parts (for me, at least). So it is taking me a while.
I did get a chance to work on the non-hentai parts on next chapter of Muuko-san. I hope to take a break with Lyteral’s project(s) to finish that off tomorrow night. IF(big if) I’m kids-free this weekend, I really want to finish off Gift.
If possible, tomorrow night, I’ll post a commission that I finished for Max and Emily Tate a few weeks ago. If I kept things in order, would have posted it tonight, but I wanted to post up KDOS first. ^_^;;
Catching up: Japan In Brief…
I was in Japan for a week and all I got was… a manga!?
Well, I also got the new K-On!! CD Singles, but…
Sorry for the long absence. A couple of weeks ago, I was in Japan on semi-business. I got back last week, but most of my time since was used in trying to catch up to all the stuff that I missed while I was away (mostly work… *sigh*).
It was a whirlwind week. So I wasn’t packed heavily and I wasn’t lugging around a large luggage to pack all sorts of goodies inside. I did take time to buy a few things for my kids and me. A lot of stuff I can buy (as imports) here where I live (large Japanese population) or online, so there really wasn’t a whole lot that I could think of that I “just had to have.” And as I said, I was there on semi-business, so most of my free time was spent enjoying the culture and eating.
Koe De Oshigoto! Chapter 24 RAW
  During my trip, while in Akihabara, I did manage to eat at a maid cafe and get myself a copy of the June issue of Comic Gum. It came with a souvenir wash cloth (like the pic below).
From the June issue, I scanned myself a copy of the 24th chapter of Koe De Oshigoto! over the weekend. And since I did the scanning, I also did my usual prep work (cleaning). In a way, this was a good timing, ‘coz I wanted to test out the scanning function of scanner/copier/printer I bought some months back.
It’s a trip to scan manga again after a long absence! The machine I have now is nothing like the big clunker (office machine) I used to use. During the course of scanning KDOS, I think I finally settled on a MO around the 20th or 23rd file; so those of you with a keen eye might notice some differences among the files starting around there.
 As far as translating goes: I hope to start translating it this weekend when I have my kids with me. (During their homework sessions!)
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get the May issue while I was in Japan. Since no one has been providing raw scans of KDOS anymore, I went ahead and placed an order for it. Hopefully, the company I ordered it from is reputable, and I receive it in a decent amount of time (2 weeks estimate).
Anyhow, for those of you who want the raw scan, here’s all the links. Sorry, no torrents this time.
In Queue…
Currently, I’m working on my last commission (hope to finish it by tomorrow night!) before moving on to judging the Editing Contest. I was rather surprised (I don’t know why I should be: it was like this last year!) that of all the people who checked out the files, I only received 2 entries. (Perhaps the task was too difficult? Hmmm.) Still, from a quick glance of the two entries submitted, I think I’m gonna have a hard time judging; so it may be just as well! ^_^;;
After I announce the winner(s), I’ll be working on another set of commissions by Cloxx of Deutsche Doujins.

Mysterious Feelings
    
…Also known as “The Chupa Sound II.” (Just kidding.)
This was, as it is in much of my life lately, an unexpected, non-hentai weekend (a little more about that later). And since I had started on KDOS, Chapter 22, previously, I decided to finish it up. Thus, I present to you Chapter 22.
In this chapter, Kanna starts having some mysterious feelings (hence, the title), while Hadzuki and Kotori learn the finesses of the “chupa” sound… as well as discovering ways to give Motoki an erection with… uh… their voice!

Still…
I said I would work on finishing Gift, Chapter 3, barring any unexpected interruptions… well, having my kids over for Saturday and Sunday was quite unexpected. ^_^;; (Long story. Don’t ask.) Also, my computer kept crashing Sunday night, which is why I’m posting this tonight. (It seems Windows Update resolved the issue!)
After this post, tonight, tomorrow night, and possibly Wednesday night, too, I’ll be finishing up filing my taxes for this tax season. If I’m a good boy and get that done (Don’t want to tick off the government and the IRS!), I’ll post this short doujinshi that I worked on last week Friday. And I’ll also tackle Gift afterward, before beginning work on 3333h’s commission and the next chapter of Cherry Town.
This chapter (in fact, the whole manga!) has been suffering much delay… and I’ve been suffering trying to get it done! I really want to get it done and over with!

I Was Waiting For A Long Time
   
I originally planned on having Eternia edit this chapter. In fact, I was half-way through translating it when I decided to just go ahead and do it myself. Nowadays, I make it rather easy for Eternia and typeset as I translate so I don’t have to fuss with typing out a separate script; all she normally has to worry about is cleaning the image, SFXs and proofreading. But, since I had my kids with me this whole week, I thought, “Just clean and edit the thing already. It won’t take you that long!”
  Hah! Boy was I wrong! I’m a lot fussier at editing than I sometimes think! Case in point, the cover of Comic Gum, featuring Kanna and friends. In the original raw file (on the left), Hadzuki had a bad “blotch” on her face; and being a medium quality scan, the image wasn’t as clean as it could be. Well, actually, unless someone had a better copy of the comic, even a high quality scan would still have that “blotch”. Anyhow, I cleaned up the Comic Gum cover a lot (image on the right). The two images here are linked together, for those who want flip back and forth to compare. And as usual, I cleaned up all the other pages a lot as well, more than any sane person (like Eternia) would do. About the only thing I didn’t do was join the split images.
Anyhow, enjoy this chapter as Kanna and friends discuss and discover each others solo…err… acting techniques.

I’d say, “I’ll be working on chapter 3 of Gift“, but I seem to jinx Gift each time I say that. So I’ll say, “I’m working on the final chapter of Hana’s Holiday Season 2“, instead!
